Lee Common CE School offers a unique, nurturing environment for children aged 4-7 within an attractive village setting. The school was rated ‘good’ by Ofsted in March 2018.
Larks Nursery is a brand new pre-school opening on the school site in September 2018 and will be a ‘school within a school’ working under the direction of the Headteacher and Early Years Strategic Lead. There will be three small Early Years Classes in September 2018.
About the role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and committed early years educator to join our successful Early Years Team. We are looking for candidates who have experience in the EYFS and a genuine passion and enthusiasm for working with young children.
Larks Nursery and Wrens Reception Class will be organised into small key groups of 8 -10 children. The successful candidate will be confident in leading learning for these small groups as well as contributing to learning journeys for both Nursery and Reception children.
The candidate will enjoy the support of the experienced Early Years Lead Teacher and the school’s nurturing environment will allow opportunities for personal and professional growth. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a brand new Nursery and established Reception Class.
The successful candidate will have a level 3 or level 4 child care qualification, strong communication skills and an ability to work as part of a team as well as independently. We offer lovely children, a beautiful environment situated in the centre of an area of outstanding natural beauty and supportive staff. This opportunity would suit both newly qualified and more experienced early years practitioners.

Please note applications will be reviewed and interviews arranged upon receipt.
We offer both lovely children and supportive staff. Please contact the school for further details.
Lee Common CE School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An Enhanced Criminal Records Disclosure will be sought from the successful candidate.
