Forest School Sessions
Forest School Sessions are an exciting addition to learning here at Lee Common CE School.
Forest School is an inspirational process which allows children the freedom to learn and develop self-esteem through play and activities outside. It is based on empowering children to make their own choices and complete small achievable tasks.
Forest School provides long term holistic learning and enables children to learn through hands on experiences. It encourages children to be inquisitive, question their decisions and manage their own risk.
All children in Reception, Year One and Year Two have half a day of Forest School Activities every week. These are led by an external Forest School Leader, with school staff assisting.
